Hi, everyone. I’m moving my blog over from bustablog to this dedicated site. It’s going to be great, and my friend Alicia is so awesome to help me with it.
As you can probably see, the template isn’t quite downloaded yet, and Alicia has abandoned me for Dave Matthews–and who can blame her? So, when she gets back, we’ll get the appearance of this thing cleaned up. I’m excited for it to be up, and maybe I can start pushing it a little.
I’ve been watching a lot of classics recently, and this morning I went a bit crazy on Netflix, so that I think I now have about 72 items in my queue. But seriously, how am I supposed to pick just one Hitchcock or Bogart film? That’s clearly not reasonable. So, I picked a bunch of ‘em.
Besides those wonderful classics (I watched Casablanca twice this week–GOD that’s good!), I’m all pumped about some YA fantasy films that are on their way. I’m getting excited about the new Harry Potter (#6), and I’m glad that WB has been putting out new trailers and promotional pics.
Then, of course, there’s the next installment of the Twilight Saga, New Moon (which I just finished reading about an hour ago for the 10th or so time). Vampires are awesome, but werewolves? Have you seen the pics? Yowza…
I’m also eagerly awaiting the first Percy Jackson movie, Percy Jackson and the Ligntning Thief. I’m crossing my fingers that Chris Columbus doesn’t screw this up, too. He’s already on thin ice due to some way-off casting choices. Though, I do completely approve of Logan Lerman as Percy. He’ll be great. Anyway, the 5th and last book comes out in May, so I’ll be all over that. The books are great. Once I read the 5th one, I’ll review the series here, so watch out for it.
More soon!
