It’s Sunday!
I’m sorry I’ve been neglecting all of you this week. The good news is that I’ve been working on a well-paying writing assignment, but the bad news is that I haven’t given my blogs the love they deserve. And the Oscar noms got released this week and everything!
So, Annie guessed it. Last week’s quotation was Gary Cooper as Lou Gehrig in 1942’s Pride of the Yankees. Best baseball movie ever. Here’s the clip:
Here’s actual footage of the Iron Horse and his farewell speech. It’s cut a little, but I wonder why they didn’t use his “I’ve got an awful lot to live for” line.
This week’s quotation is going to be fun. I think it might be one of those things where if you know it, you really know it, but if you don’t, you might be lost. We’ll give it a shot. Tell you what, if nobody knows by Wednesday, I’ll give you a clue.
This is not occult science. Our beliefs are fairly commonplace and simple to understand. Humankind is simply materialized color operating on the 49th vibration. You’d make that conclusion walking down the street or going to the store.

HA! Okay, your clue did help. A Mighty Wind! OMG Christopher Guest’s movies are hysterical! I think “Best In Show” is one of the most brilliantly hysterical movies I’ve ever seen.

YES! Annie wins again. That’s…what… 4 for you, one for Nancy, and none for anyone else.
